About the Ute

I bought this car as an unfinished project from Sydney in February 2007. Since I purchased it the headlining and carpet has been replaced, I have replaced the windscreens with laminated, and I have had made a tonneau cover, I have also fixed up some motor modifications to the Commodore V6 that's in it.

The wife and I traillered the car down to Castle auto Electrics in Chewton Victoria, to have the following completed.

The vehicle will be in Chewton for around 2 months, it was a nice 711km one trip to take the car to these guys.

I was down in Victoria for a few days and popped into Castlemaine, to see how the progress of the ute was going.

All the wiring has been pulled out, and the alternator has been removed from the engine bay.

The engine bay looks a lot cleaner now, the wiring has been removed. The kit that was in it was a paneless one and a kit supplied by  V6 Conversions for the wiring of the relays and other items.

I do like Pat Gardner's from v6 conversions  structural work, but I feel Pat should leave the wiring to some one else, as it always has looked messy on all v6 conversions I have seen, mine included however, mine may have looked the worse.

I will be down in Victoria again in a few weeks, I will check in on the car then and update this page at that time.
